Book Depository is a UK-based online book seller with a large catalogue offered with free shipping to over 160 countries. The store was founded by a former employee. In 2011 it was acquired by Amazon.

Based on my experience…Yes it was a ‘Free Shipping’ but if you’re going to compare the original price of the book to theirsthe price is a bit higher. Majority of their stocks are somehow surprisingly huge! They got some rare books, collector’s edition and even signed ones. You’ll be easily hooked up (like why the hell not?!).

The first book that I bought is Jonathan Maberry’s Rot & Ruin book set. It was a hard to find book and always out of stock.

The user-friendliness of their website is easy to use. They have a selection of mode of payment, but the problem is the delivery days are not exact as what they said on the website. I am ordering from the UK to the Philippines and according to them, the delivery will take 7-10 business days. I got worried when my books haven’t arrived on the 15th day. I have been contacting their customer service via e-mail and they took like 1-2 days before they reply.

I keep waiting and waiting until it lasted like 1-month and 1-week then it finally arrived!

The packaging is very well packed.

Here’s my review at

After all the worries I finally got used to it. So I came back and order another book.

This time it took them like 3-weeks before it arrived.

Overall, I recommend checking your favourite store first and if it isn’t theremake the Book Depository your second option. The prices might be a bit higher but it’s free shipping. You must have a lot of patience when it comes on waiting it to be delivered.
